Depends on the kind you choose. I have a low-end ($20) and tested it on my friend who is very sensitive to smoke smell. I blew it directly at her last night and she said 'nothing, I smell nothing'. Puffed away all evening and kept asking. 'Nope. I smell nothing'

But I have a friend with a high-end one that has that 'bong' gurgle which is annoying and whatever flavor he chose gets offensive (to me) inside. Outside it might not.

Anyway, what do you think? I noticed a long time ago that I don't even want a whole cigarette the majority of the time. I want a few hits of nicotine and then I'm good. Which the vape allows me to do w/o throwing away or relighting (ew) cigs.

And there is just no conceivable way they an be worse or even nearly as bad, in my view. I am very excited with this.

I have been sick of smoking for a long time and I can't afford it either. A cartridge for the vaper I have is the same price as a pack but is lasting me much longer. And I think over time I will use it less and less.

e-cigs dont stink to the other people they inflict their disgusting stench on. That works for me.

as for e-cigs being safer i think the jury is still out. They have not been out long enough to have gathered enough data.

Has to be better than smoking. I already feel better.

we dont know that yet. All i care about is that i dont have to smell the stench produced by smokers. Smokers will smoke... they have proven it makes no difference if it is good or bad for you.

so have at it.... so long as you are not involving anyone else in/by your habit.... woohoo.

Even if it's the same for heath, which I don't believe, I am using far less. I only want a few 'hits' of nicotine so the cigarette either gets totally wasted or I smoke too much of it. There is no way (unless one has ALOT of money) to take three drags and then to toss it.

so this is not about better for your over cost per hit.

No, it is about better for my heath. That was the reason for the switch. Health and money. As an aside, I said theoretically even if it was not helping my health as in the vapor being not as bad, it is helping health and money anyway because I use less. No matter how it's looked at, it's better for my health and money.

I started vaping the month that idiotic 0bama signed SCHIP.

I was a 3 pack a day smoker. I still like to light up occasionally. Since I don't smoke in the house, I don't light up when the weather is bad. On good weather days I might smoke a max of 5 cigs in a 24 hours period.

    But I chain vape.

I stopped coughing within a month of vaping.
    Thanks from Sassy

5.5 days in and I have used less than half of my cartridge which is equal to a pack.
    Thanks from Pureinheart
