Wrong. Its because they won't be able to afford it. Or do you really think people in their 50s will suddenly decide they don't need healthcare. Maybe you'll wake up when you stop getting tose sweet, sweet gubbmint checks of yours every month.

Good thing is that is DOA. But some people won't forgot how Trump tried to screw them over with health care and the budget.
You'd think the voters would remember who tried to screw them over and who voted for it.

But, voters tend to have short memories.

Did you even bother to look at the list of funding sources for the ACA? if you had, you would see that the vast majority of the funding is taxes on the top 2% of earners, and that is why Republicans want to eliminate it, to give their masters, the plutocrats, a massive tax cut. If you believe that Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have any interest in helping workers I feel sorry for you. They are not even white nationalists<shrug>

Wednesday’s CBO report re-enforced a point made in its analysis of the original version. AHCA’s tax credit scheme severely shortchanges lower income consumers and older people, the latter a key GOP constituency. That constituency is hit a second time by a provision in the bill that allows insurers to charge older consumers more than young people, when compared to the ratio allowed under current law.
A 64-year-old at 175 percent of the poverty level who lives in a non-waiver state will pay eight times more in net premiums than under the current law.
How many in that age bracket can afford 8 times their current premiums?

well, as long as they consider healthcare a privilege, this is what you can expect. it's up to the citizens to push for healthcare as a right.
