I'm a cancer survivor. Cancer is rarely fucking funny.
What? It's fucking funny if the sufferer is a member of a profession you don't approve of, or a race or a gender or something?
    Thanks from Panzareta

No, but it's a bit weird when the article is about breast cancer, and the victim's surname is "Arreola." It also helps to be a bit immature.

She met her husband at a cancer survivors' support group. A French guy who had testicular cancer. Naturally, his last name is Balzac.

Meh. You aren't laughing at the cancer, just the ironic name. No need to feel guilty about that.

If they wrote a story about your rectal cancer and your name was Mr. Asshole, that would be funny too.

Indeed, it would help to be immature as all hell.
    Not to mention callous.

you need to laugh more. Laughter is good for you.

I had a doctor named D.Payne. Rather funny for a man who was going to hurt you.

as for you being the only one with cancer..... think again. A good outlook and attitude on life goes a long way toward recovery.
