I disagree and as to other reasons people hated him (racism, being a big-game hunter, etc) those were different days. We cannot judge our ancestors by today's standards.

Who's undisclosed donations? Read the New York Times article again. The Clinton foundation declared the contributions made under the name of someone else's family foundation that contributed the money, "The Fernwood Group.

The Fernwood foundation recieved between $1.3 million and $5.6 million in contributions, which were reported, from a constellation of people with ties to Uranium One or UrAsia, the company that originally acquired Uranium One’s most valuable asset: the Kazakh mines. Without those assets, the Russians would have had no interest in the deal: “It wasn’t the goal to buy the Wyoming mines. The goal was to acquire the Kazakh assets, which are very good,” Mr. Novikov, the Rosatom spokesman, said in an interview.

The contributions made by the Fernwood Foundation were declared by the Clinton Foundation, no contributions they received went unreported.

It wasn't up to the Clinton Foundation to disclose where the Fernwood Foundation was getting their money. It wasn't required by any agreement the Clintons had with Obama's administration.

Example in simple terms= One family Foundation (The Smiths) (which is a charity) gets donations from a number of people, say Mr A, Mr B, Mrs C and so on. The Smith's foundation choses to give the money they collected to another foundation like the Jones Foundation (also a charity). 'The Jones Foundation declares receiving the money as donated by the Smith Foundation as required by law. It is not up to the Jones Foundation to say were the Smith Foundation got its money. The Smith foundation could have received its money from Mr A, Mr B and Mrs C. The Jones Foundation is just to suppose to declare they got X amount of money from the Smith Foundation. The Jones may not even know were the Smiths got the money to donate.

In the Fernwood Foundation it turns out that Mr A, Mr B , and Mrs C were in real life a constellation of people with ties to Uranium One or UrAsia, the company that originally acquired Uranium One’s most valuable asset: the Kazakh mines.

In summary there was nothing inappropriate in the way the Clinton Foundation received its money and they did declare the amounts under the name of the Fernwood foundation as they were suppose to.

So the reason Roosevelt was wrong on Universal Healthcare is "Hillary", "Uranium" and "racist"? Does that about cover the right wing arguments in this thread? Glad to see you all live up to our expectations of real debate. GMAFB

As a Democrat I have, many times, criticized Democratic politicians. Spookcolt stated that Republicans disown racists. Trump alone is proof that it's not true.
