It is going to take some time to fix all the damage.

Yes they do - and if the ACA fails because of this current administration - it will be on THEM.

This is like the 5th article I've read where insurers are pulling out due to FEDERAL uncertainly.

This is literally life or death for some people. It's irresponsible for this administration to be messing with people lives.

But I don't think you care about that - even with people in your own state.

The ACA has been failing since 2010.

Insurers had already left in droves before the election last year.

Anyone who lives in a small state knows that's true. But instead focus was on how wonderful it was in CA, NY etc. The rest of us were going without insurers and being penalized. Or changing doctors every single year and having to go further each time for care.

No one denies changes need to be made, but Trumpcare offered zero improvement and 1000 times worse for the poor and working class.

    Do you know about this?

The same four insurers offering individual health plans on the federal health exchange this year indicated they will offer coverage again in 2018.

The New Hampshire Insurance Department on Tuesday said it received “initial form filings” from four insurance companies that intend to offer medical plans under the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.

The four companies are Anthem, Harvard Pilgrim, Minuteman Health and Ambetter from NH Healthy Families.

    and

What a difference an election makes. A year ago, the individual market was thriving in New Hampshire. Its four insurers and a 2 percent increase in rates were the exception to the rising costs and lack of competition that afflicted most of the rest of the nation.

    Maybe these articles are wrong??

    Not entirely true

Looks like only 5 states = Alabama, Alaska, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wyoming — have only one insurance company selling policies on the Obamacare exchanges.

Just curious. Did any of those states take advantage of the expanded federal funding for Medicaid? I doubt it. That puts an additional burden on companies that choose to operate in the exchanges.
