I can say I've never been to a doctor that doesn't have someone that deals with insurance.

Not sure where you guys are going.

    This guy?

Tell that to the people in Canada who died waiting for treatment.

Blow out your knee, sure we will replace it, you just need to wait a year for it to be done.
Or with no coverage, wait forever...

We are discussing insurance, not those without insurance.

That's the whole problem, though. It is only a good system if you can afford the insurance in the first place (or have so much money you do not need it). The best system in the world is no good to those millions who cannot afford it.
Thanks from OldGaffer, Friday13, labrea and 1 others

I do not get the impression Spooky is too concerned about those people.
Thanks from Ian Jeffrey and labrea

I don't HATE the idea of single payer, it's just that my way is better.

The ACA is a Royals Royce and what I'm saying is to scale it back and if you want more insurance, buy it as an add on.

Tell them to get a job so they can afford it.

Most of the people who cannot afford health insurance do have jobs.
