    Flumageddon

It was deadly in AU and England...and its on its way here. The 2017/18 flu season is upon us now.

Yes, we got our shots and we are crazy germaphobes. I still don't think any of that is going to help. Today he feels badly as if he is coming down with something. The neighbors have two confirmed cases of flu....

    anyone else yet?
    Thanks from bajisima and Nicnam

    It's already bad.

I got my shot but then they said this years batch may only be 10% effective.

Thanks for the reminder! I worry about my cherub. She has a horseshoe kidney and I get nervous every time I hear of something like this.

Ugh. This is the first time in about 20 years that I got the shot. I wish you hadn't told me it might not be any good! I could have placebo-effected myself through the whole winter!

10% effective is still better than 0% effective.

Friends husband has already been in the hospital with complications from flu about 3 weeks ago. Thankfully he is better now but he had his flu shot back in October and still got very sick. Doctors said they dont think the vaccine will work much this year as the strain is all wrong and they expect a lot of very sick people.
    Thanks from syrenn
