    Ebola: It's back

    Ebola spreading in Congo city.

3 new cases have been confirmed in Mbandaka, a city of more than a million, for a total of 17 confirmed cases, 21 probable cases, 5 suspected cases, and one death.

Most outbreaks have been in remote, rural areas, and this is the 9th Ebola outbreak since 1976 in Congo.

It can be fatal in up to 90% of cases.

We could have already had a vaccination for this. Too bad it only happens to poor people in poor countries.

There is an experimental vaccine for Ebola.

Health officials started giving the vaccine in Mbandaka on Monday.

Hopefully this vaccine will prove to be effective, because it has a promising track record but is "as-yet-unlicensed".

There will be a Ebola season just as there is a Cold and Flu season.

15,000 hospitalizations and an estimated 3000 deaths US.

It's not an airborne illness, it doesn't spread like that in places like the US.

Here's an easy prediction: If we see another Ebola epidemic on the scale of the 2014 outbreak, with some cases here in the U.S. and other developed countries, President Trump will react in a TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE manner.

He will probably respond by declaring a quarantine against "all the shit-house countries of the world", including, quite naturally, all the countries of Africa and South America, with Asia being under consideration.
