I don't recall the numbers offhand, but all of my deductibles and copays are reasonable. I'd estimate $10 for prescription medications, around $20-30 for doctor visits. It might be as high as $50 for an ER visit; can't remember for sure.

So....it's A-OK with you that taxpayers, even taxpayers that aren't as well off as you, will be ""on the hook"" (gouged) to pay for some of YOUR healthcare.

    Nice.

Once the Obamacare clause that concerns pre-existing conditions kicks in this January, we can buy independently, dropping the price to about $1000/mo, saving us about $8000 annually.

There are some gourd-headed individuals who will whine that taxpayers are on the hook for making my care more affordable. Good. My taxes funded some incredibly wasteful wars. I'm glad to see taxes, including my own, used to keep people healthy for a change.

Most of the plans have horrid deductibles and copays. The bronze plans are 60/40 with 12,000 deductibles annually (family/ 6K individual). Silver is a bit better while the Gold and Platinum plans are best but they have high premiums.
