Hopefully it won't be too late for Democrats to regain some sort of power in the next few years.
why is it any of your business who I reach out to? You're really over stepping your bound here. Mind your own business and worry about your own political associations. I don't speak for the DNC. I speak for myself and I'll choose who I 'reach out to" according to my own standards. Not yours.

    You started this, dude.

But since you're clearly frustrated, I'll bow out.

    Chowder.

Love it. Where does he get the nerve? He personally didn't force concessions out of the Democrats. If he was the only one in the room bitching about campaign finance reform and trying to curtail the influence of money in D.C., nobody would have conceded to anything, would they? The Democrats needed votes to win the election. They should have conceded more. They underestimated how pissed off people are. Now they know: pissed off enough to elect Donald Trump.

Take a moment to digest that shit. This professional wrestling personality (literally) is the President.

Sanders represented a pretty fair number of people. He won his share of states outright. (Usually when he won 2-out-of-3 states on a given day, the media reported on what a big win Hillary had in the 1...hence people felt a little jilted by the party and the billionaire-controlled media...it's not that complicated really.) The group of people that Bernie represents convinced the DNC that they actually exist and that they actually matter, but they didn't take it seriously enough.

Never enough? What exactly was supposed to be enough? "Yes, I'm going to keep the bankers in charge, I'm going to keep funneling power and influence to Wall Street, I'm going to bankrupt the middle class on healthcare...but I'll give you a minimum wage sufficient to keep a single person just above poverty...until that is repealed in a few years..." What exactly did the Democrats bring to the table to work with what turns out is a large number of Americans who are completely disgusted with that? The Republicans brought Donald Trump, and that was actually enough to defeat Hillary. What did the Democrats bring?

The "nerve" to force the party... Fuck the party. The party is nothing but the people whose votes they need and want. The leadership has understandably come to think they are above all of that and the voters should shut up and do as they're told. On this one, they were proven disastrously wrong about what is happening in America right now.

If he was just representing himself, it wouldn't have been effective. He was representing the people who supported him, and he had a duty to them to keep his promise.

Sanders created the situation where he needed to go out and pretend to support Hillary Clinton. By then, it was too little too late.

In any case, I barely even respond to you anymore. Most of the time I just ignore when you bash the primary process. This once I decided to respond.

Oh and btw, for the record...I have no problem embracing Sanders and his supporters, but for the incessant whiny, crybaby sore-loser routine. They can't have everything their way. If they want to be a part of the Democrat party they have to meet other people in the party half-way. One thing I'm not going to do is kiss their ass because of their lame threats to give us Trump if I don't. That's on them. Not me. I voted for the candidate I though was most qualified. I didn't vote out of spite. And I most certainly didn't stay home like some spoiled brat because my candidate didn't win the primary.

Same as when Obama won the nomination.
No, no more "half way". I am not interested in anymore prison industrial complexes, exploitive capitalists killing people with bad drugs and fossil fuels, or scapegoating the poor. Get some fucking decency and some guts and fight for what's right. For your fellow Americans and their children.

Don't try to sell GOP ideas on a Democratic ticket and lie to people that progressive ideas won't work. Don't betray your fellow man again.
