There are a few here but most just like to do their little one word responses or make personal troll posts.
When someone makes statements that are downright fucking stupid there is nothing to debate. If some dumbshit is going to come on and say Hillary colluded with the Russians in the campaign and you are willing to debate it, it just lends credibility to that possibility and it does not deserve it. All it deserves is a "that's fucking stupid". Maybe you can debate with someone whether or not the sky is blue or green but the intelligent person isn't going to waste their time.

Spookycolt almost NEVER debates. He just says provocative things and then observes the carnage.

I rarely DON'T debate. You'll rarely see me say things I can't support with facts and logic. Facts and logic are of no particular consequence to you. You just like making the keys go up and down.

I don't get how people don't get it. You state your position, you provide your reasoning. Those that don't do that are either trolls or they are dead wrong and they can't support their position

Nope. You're one of the finest debaters/discussers here. Appreciate that!

But not never. Spooky and I have had some great convos.

His knee-jerk reaction is understandable, but not fun for us.

Like most reactionairies, Spooky knows how he feels before he learns what happened. Lots of guessing, fueled by a rather extreme POV.

To a degree, this is also true of me. I believe that X, Y and Z are anti-human, and assume anyone furthering such ideas is a moral imbecile.

I agree. When he knows what he's talking about, he can be interesting.

My problem with Spooky is that he jumps in to every thread, regardless of whether he actually has anything to say. That and his masquerading as an academic. What you've said here is quite accurate, but people who succeed in academic graduate programs generally don't allow themselves to draw conclusions or "feel" before they "learn what happened." It's exceedingly painful to be repeatedly shown one's own ignorance during in-person, meaningful interactions with people who have control over your academic future. Spooky does this so often that I simply can't believe he's experienced much advanced graduate work.

I don't care about what anyone claims, as to education.

I have known too many stupid lawyers and fucking brilliant HS graduates.

I NEVER change my opinion because some "expert" around here directs me to. If they cannot explain their reasoning, they don't understand the subject any better than anyone else.

Really smart people can convey their ideas in full to anyone with an 8th grade education.
