Every network out there should be standing together with their partners in this news letting their viewers know...THIS IS NOT NORMAL OR OK.
I think they are fearful they are losing huge shares of viewers to the internet and social media. Many are cutting the cord and going all online. Their total viewers are half what they were 4 years ago. Its happening so fast. I also think, and I might be wrong, that they know they appeal to older viewers. Few 20 year olds watch the news anymore its all online. So they know their average viewer is probably over 45. Older people don't tend to like to rock the boat as much. So I think they are trying to walk a fine line and are ending up appealing to nobody.

There is no "my" truth and "your" truth. Either something is true or it's not. Bajisima's friend's truth is a lie. The team that lost - lost. They didn't win in any sense. That's absurd.

Just watch the daily WH press briefings to see the alternative.
Yep we could have state run media like Russia or China. The corruption would be horrible and we wouldn't have any idea about it.

What you are calling for will only finish off any credibility the Mainstream media still possesses and that's not much.

You would be wrong about that. I do not share your cultural and moral beliefs. You do not share mine.

There are only "facts" and how a people choose to incorporate those facts into their belief systems.

But facts and beliefs are separate things? One is free to choose any beliefs they want but a fact must have truth in it. I know people try to overlap them but its not the same thing.

The media recently showed footage of "The Donald" as he spoke from the podium and said, "The media are the most dishonest people in the world. They are Bad people!"

I literally did a spit-take when I heard it the first time. The gall it takes to say those words where thinking people can hear them is astounding.

But as we all have seen, lying comes as easy to him as breathing does for most folks. He lies just for the sake of lying. Even when there is no advantage in telling a lie, he doubles down anyway.

Those who don't see the psychology of what he does and says are either blind, deaf or both. You couldn't sell this shit as fiction even. No Publisher would believe it possible that we could have someone that sick in the oval office. Thanks righties! WTF were you thinking??

So, the lying is fine but pointing it out is horrible? Just trying to be clear.

so sure, let's be perfectly clear. No. The lying is not fine. But, it's up to consumers of the news to decide if it's a lie. Not the president. Especially, when he's such a liar himself. Our free press functions best when it's left up to the consumer. Not the government and most certainly not the president.
    Thanks from Babba
