Reagan's deregulation of the banks was the beginning of the end. It led to the massive crash in 2009. Banks were shorting investments they knew would fail. Wake up Dude. Why would you want a massive tax break for the richest Americans and leave the middle class out to dry.

Never understood why people would vote against their best interest. I know Trump doesn't have your best interest in mind, that's for sure.

Reagan had massive deficits. That is not a secret.

    Deficit under Reagan
the deficit under Reagan reached $207 billion in 1983, two years after Reagan passed the Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 which reduced taxes, effectively reducing tax revenue.

So Republicans knew that Democrats would try to spoil the money grabbing party by countering with a little truth? How dare they! Why is it so important to you that the wealthy get wealthier at your expense? Because that's what this tax bill is all about.

Pushing a piece of legislation through quickly before the details get revealed. Remind you of anything? Oh yeah, repeal and replace. The 20 plus million middle class and working poor who would lose healthcare was a detail the GOP tried to push quickly past but got caught by a little truth before they could pull it off.

This is the GOP pattern, enrich themselves at the expense of anyone who isn't them. And folks like you are the willing sheep marching nose to asshole off to slaughter. But, unfortunately, it doesn't just affect the GOP voters.

It is a bill that will be picked up by all.

Just like America had to elect Trump to see how bad the GOP...if this tax giveaway is passed, America will have 3 years to see it true failure.

This bill needs to pass so America can see the GOP lies.
However, if one democrat votes for it, the disaster will be the democrat's according to republicans.

Using republican logic, a tax rate of 0 would maximize economic growth.

Even as clear and definitive that chart is, the right will still deny what it shows. It's staggering just how indoctrinated and party loyal the right is. It's like Trump and his predecessors have a robot army that gladly go along with every destructive thing their gods propose.

Add to that the dismantling of labor unions that he started and you've got the GOP master plan.

Looks like Reagans tax cut resulted in debt growth, not the promised gdp growth.

What these two graphs clearly show is that the economy always does better under Democratic administrations. In fact both peace and prosperity are better served under Democrats. No matter how you try to spin it, truth reveals those facts very clearly. Indisputable.

Never could figure out how one spends MORE and takes in less and expects a reduced deficit, especially when those getting tax cuts, simply sit on them or spend them hiring people in other nations.
