I can answer this if documents are made public on the 14th, but deemed confidential on the 15th and "further distributed" by the party who held them on the 14th now distributed again on the 16th, they dont have an argument. Ask Intel and Samsung.

I seem to recall Rehnquist mellowing out in his arguments towards the end of his time on the SC. of course he tried to block minorities from voting, the whole war on drugs didn't quite deliver the results that Nixon wanted. But I have to say, Rehnquist? Phelps? Atwater? Once they see their mortality on the horizon, suddenly they want to convert. Guess there's no political party in the afterlife eh?

Oh, sure, the world would be safer if we were all helpless victims in waiting. And we can certainly count on would be criminals to obey whatever "public safety" regulations are posited to make gun violence impossible.
Can you please give examples of the government infringing on 1st amendment rights in order that someone not be offended? And if we would be in such danger without the 2nd amendment then why are there so many fewer firearms deaths in countries with stricter gun laws? It seems those countries are exposed to less danger.

After Bush VS Gore, a decision that was so bad they had to make it a one time thing Rehnquist killed his reputation.

No, as many right wingers think their decision is right. If Rehnquist was Christian, he knew what they are doing was wrong, but they did it any way. Considering what Bush did, lying us into war with a country, that did not attack us. Killing millions, ruining the balanced budget ,leaving us deep in debt. Wars not paid for,I know.

I would hate to stand and at the bar of Justice and answer for that one.

Thanks for the laugh. The left actually thinks they control the press and all that's lacking is making opposition illegal.

It is not the left "ruining" fox news...it is their own business model.

If I sold a bag of crushed glass pieces to children as toys...I would have a bad business model and I should not blame the people for not buying.

Fox and other Alt-right media are the equivalent of a bag of crushed glass. I ain't buying.

And yet the right thinks the left controls the press, too, thus creating the left-wing media conspiracy.

I disagree. All the SCOTUS did was refuse to hear an appeal from the Florida Supreme Court decision.

Gore's election results as regards the "popular vote" vs. the electoral college were irrelevant, as a matter of law.

All the court had to decide was whether to decertify the election results and order a recount in Palm Beach County.

Casting such doubt on an American presidential election as to warrant the results void or voidable was an unprecedented type of relief, would have caused absolute chaos, inspired more attacks in other states and severely compromised the right to vote.

I think Gore's lawsuit was fucking treason.

This case was decided correctly, IMO.

And I never again want to hear the words "hanging chad"!
