Political Haywire does the same thing.

That's why I always talk in fake accents. Just in case.

I do not get "friend suggestions" and I have no pictures on facebook. No camera on my screen or anywhere. Is that something that is hard for people to do?

I pretty much don't use FB anymore.

Among Russian speaking users, I know that many have been migrating to indigenous Russian networks like VKontakte, because they feel that Facebook is biased against them, including lots of Russian language moderators from Ukraine and Baltic States, who target them over politics. Similarly, some Ukrainians, for example, go the other way, from VK to FB.

    It's not just political though.

VK has, generally, a way younger crowd than FB, 26,8% of their "authors" in 2015, for example, were under 18 years of age

FB, which does not allow minors, has, ostencibly, 0%, at least in that part of the world

VK also has a much looser moderation standard. You can' talk crap about Putin. But, insulting and trolling each other all damn day is fine, knock yourself out, they don't give a crap. A grrat environment for immature teenagers lol Cyberbullying and such things thrive on VK...

This is another thing that drives some there away to FB.

It's difficult to avoid the camera for anyone posting with a smartphone, rather than a computer.

The simple solution is to refrain from joining Facebook. That's what I did.

I had a survey call today. Answered every question. Then they asked me what age bracket I was in. They did not give me a, None of your business number, so I hung up.

Oh, I love FaceTime. It allows the wife and I to stay in touch with the kids and grandkids via video messaging.

    You must have meant Facebook?
