I know I got rid of a lot of conservative "friends" when I started posting negative things about Trump. Didn't bother me in the slightest as I don't have much in common with folks that think Trump is a great president. (Higher I.Q. for one thing.)
AWW are you all offended because you are not as smart as others? AWWW

This site SEEMS to use cookies more for tracking sign in and post info...

Facebook tracks people and their posting far beyond, things like tracking your other cookies to know all sites you visit... The software can turn on your camera and microphone and report things it sees / hears.

I generally do not post political crap on facebook. If one of my friends does this, i hide their feed and I do not ever delete anyone. Politics is not worth losing the people that you care about.

I don't either. As much as I complain about it, I like staying connected and have learned better how to navigate it.

We can hope but I doubt it. Kids are becoming teenagers all the time just as teenagers mature and become adults.

I have heard from hundreds of students that I have had over the years. It has been one of the most thrilling things for me to hear from them and know I made an impact on their lives. Without Facebook, they would have a harder time finding me

And yet the Trump administration just gave your ISP the legal go ahead to track even more than that...and sell the information to whomever will buy it.

And the FCC provided protections against these intrusions in 2016: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.865ce0a7bcfa

Then in 2017 Republicans prevented those protections from going into effect: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.7e0c4e24340b
