    Some of you guys missing the point. Macduff is correct in what he is saying. Printing the name of the shooter only encourages more whack-jobs to shoot up more kids. I tip my hat to them, doesn't matter if they are some right-wing polishing ragm they are doing the right thing.

    And it is certainly possible that other media outlets could follow suit. (While some probably will not.)

    As many have discussed in followup to the Florida shooting. There is no magical big solution to this type of violence. But a variety of smaller steps can still help reduce/mitigate the volume of events.

    The "instant infamy and notoriety" a mass shooter gets is a motivation for some. Taking that away can only have a positive effect.
