Maybe it SHOULD, but who would decide who is "childish and irresponsible".

Some people want a basic citizenship test before you could vote.

At least know the names of the VP, your two Senators, the 3 branches of gubmint...basic stuff like that.

Lots of voters just watch attack ads, then decide.

    And, that's legal, too.

    Whatcha gonna do?
this is all beside the point and exceedingly obvious.

people are mostly too busy to pay attention. The things that get their attention are things that effect their lives. Healthcare, jobs, crime...stuff like that. When the media tries to make things more sensational then they are it's just insults viewers. Everything isn't "breaking news".

I listen to Chris and Rachel every night, at work. Generally, they do not air him talking, thank god. Rachel does a lot of research, and regularly has historians on.

    2 problems:
    1. How many of those voters ere convinced by Russian misinformation will always be unknowable
    2. Trump lost the popular vote as did GW Bush in 2000.

Never again should the loser of the PV become president.
The EC is slanted towards the dumbest areas of our country. and the dumbest voters.

Doesn't matter. If I convince you to vote for someone and you cast the vote, you're responsible for who you voted for.

    2. Trump lost the popular vote as did GW Bush in 2000.
Both elected under the election system we have. The electoral college isn't perfect but neither would a straight popular vote be. I'd kind of like to alternate between the two. That way to serve two terms you would've had to have won under both systems.

    Maybe. Maybe not.

Yeah, some of them are busy.

But when they DO pay attention, they don't like what they see from our "news" media, or the corruption of Congress.

Can't blame them for being disgusted.

    Completely right about "breaking news".

Lmao... The only way the MSM can win against trump is to not report on what the president is doing/saying.

For the democrats, that must be depressing to think how poor the party platform has become....
