With the idea of murder.. they can transfer blame and be angry.

you are the one bringing up wanting new laws protecting everyone from everything and not putting responsibility on parents for their children.... sorry, that is snowflakery. You will live.
You are welcome to persist in archaic thinking.

It is your right, as an American.

I saw that earlier this morning. I wonder if she'll appeal, and if so whether the conviction will withstand the appeal.

I think this woman is clearly responsible and deserves the up to 20 years in prison.

This case was clearly a "unique case" as described by the fact she went above and beyond to make sure this young man ended his life.

Could face 20 years but probably will get just a few, was tried as a juvenile. I'd giver her at least 5.

I believe in trying juveniles as juveniles so the sentence is ok by me. But she should go to a psychiatric facility. I think she is a danger to others and we will hear about her again.

    I wish she was unique.

We have a serious problem with sadists online.

you really do need to get your descriptors down better.... or are you saying all of thees people are doing what they are doing for sexual gratification. Again... i would have though you would have knows better then that. If you are going to throw around big words you should at least know how to apply them.

psychopaths? sociopaths? In this case i would lean toward sociopath.

I don't know. If it is sexual, it's a type of gratification I barely even glimpsed before.

Thing is, like Lori Drew, they appear to be so normal. Lead law-abiding lives. Apparently wouldn't harm anyone......unless they can do it online.

They are gonna need new terms for these freaks.

The definition of sadist does not have to include sexual gratification. It just requires one to derive any kind of pleasure from harming another.
