I'm pretty hard-left, politically, but I tend to think in terms of market-oriented solutions and efficiency, which might be a little unusual among liberals. I also generally lean away from an identity-politics approach to issues (favoring class-based approaches, instead). I voted for Bernie Sanders in both the primary and the general election, but would have voted for Clinton if I were in a competitive state. I'm currently pushing a lefty-solidarity vision, because I think the last thing we liberals need, at the moment, is to be indulging in in-fighting. I feel myself to be allied with every centrist and liberal in this country who is opposed to the dark turn taken by the GOP leadership, and so I'm not inclined to do things that would undermine that much-needed unity in opposition.
Good to see you once again.

The suspense exhausted me, but I'm recharging as we speak.

Hi Arkady, MaryAnne pointed me to this thread. You sound like a great person that I can find much in common with. If you have read my postings you will find that I am a Far Right-Wing Conservative who just loves to debate Liberals.

Actually NO! I am just about as far removed from Republicans as the Sun is from Pluto but thought I'd throw that in just to be facetious and to give you a moment to reflect upon before the big bang revelation that is sure to brighten your day!

Glad you are here! I supported Hillary Clinton and now with the new information about the Russian connection to the 2016 elections I'm sure that she is the legitimate president! Well, that's all I can say on this thread as it is an introductory thread and not for me to get on my usual soapbox about politics. See ya later!
Thanks from MaryAnne, Friday13 and Arkady
