The media is the reason I don't like early voting. They constantly want to be the first to break a story that they don't wait to verify anything. They rush it out whether true or not and people hear it and change their vote. Many people are undecided or leaning one way or the other, and a last minute story can change their minds. CNN had a few people on earlier today who wanted to change their vote but cant. They are upset.

I would strongly recommend checking out the BBC news website. They tend to have a bit of a left bias, but slight. However, they usually have columns explaining things like that in a factual and unbiased way. Well worth the few minutes it would take to skim the "US and Canada" page.

Tough shit. They should have either had better reasons for their choice to begin with, or they should waited until election day to vote, if they're that wishy-washy.

But its not always so simple. We had a case where the media reported someone was actually a felon and they couldn't be on a ballot. Within 24 hours they rescinded it because it was someone else with the same last name, had we had early voting tons of people could have changed their minds.

I guess it matters on perspective.

    Wordiness...........10
    Damaging...........10

You really need to be more specific.

People can change their minds the day after election day. Tough shit.
