media coverage of the 2016 election.

    on a scale of 1 to 10.

    10 being excellent.

1 being the least you'd expect from the media.

If 1 represents sucking as bad as it could possibly suck then i give it a one.
Too much reality TV drama mixed in to what they try and call news reporting..far too much and that' just the tip of the iceberg.

    Give em a 6.

I especially liked the Fox evening news coverage of issues the past few weeks.

A different issue each evening, along with a fairly balanced presentation of positions.

The worst stuff, the overexposure of Trump during the primaries and delaying of high impact criticism until after the Trump nomination. They all seemed to do it.

    Same as always.

Bias is always there. Not sure what to grade it.

It has been the worst journalistic malpractice ever. And they generally suck, but they were especially horrid these last 6 months or so.

The question was about the news media, not fox.

    Horrible.

The media jumped on Trump early and he delivered ratings.

So, they stayed on Trump, and he kept delivering.

    Ratings equals money.

    It's that simple.

The media will answer that question based on their P & L statements. (that's all they really care about)

Meh. Can't really blame the news media for the Republicans nominating a Reality TV clown as their presidential candidate.

I think that Clinton would have won, no matter whom the Republicans had chosen, but we could have had a campaign based upon competing policy proposals, rather than what amounted to a Jackass Nation mini-series.
