Congress will not fund a "massive" works program AND cut taxes...that is begging for deficit increases.

There may be a Obama stimulus type works program, but not on the scale everyone is envisioning or is needed.

If Trump's plans cost big money Congress will find a way not to fund it.

They can't do that. MILLIONS would lose their health insurance...and the Dems would be handed the Senate and possibly even the House on a silver platter in the 2018 midterms.

A lot of people would be very happy if they did that. About half the country.

That's probably close to impossible isn't it? I had read where most of the senate will be easy for the GOP in 2018 since most of the seats up for grabs are in deep red states.

Nahh, that's just a "pipe dream."

    Thx
In state after state, family values are losing out to the potheads. Furthermore, if we had any "family values," there would not be Americans willing to deport their fellow Americans simply because their parents lacked human registration papers to be here.

You heard me right. Trump wants to ship AMERICAN children off to Mexico simply because the parents don't have human registration papers.

Ultimately the Supreme Court will weigh in on this. I really don't know what they will say, but I see it like this:

Suppose that Trump could deport all those people. Hosea and Maria take their two Mexican born children and their four American born children to Mexico. Problem solved. Right???

Well, a few years go by and Hosea's American born children cannot find a job AND they didn't get a decent education. Yeah, and the English they learned went out the window. But, here they are 17 or 18 years old and they show up at the border with their birth certificate, Socialist Surveillance Number ... ooops "Social Security Number" ... and whatever National ID they need to enter the U.S.

Now, we have MILLIONS of people coming in "legally" as the right calls it. They don't speak English; they don't have an education; these people have no job skills; they don't even have a family support system. You don't have to have college degree to figure this one out.

Those blue collar guys that voted for Trump in Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania.....lose their insurance?

He'd be the "walking wounded" as a President until he was soundly defeated in 2020...and the GOP would lose Congress in 2018.

bajisima, we also read that Hillary Clinton had "numerous pathways to 270, Trump needs a miracle."

MILLIONS lose their insurance...and you think the GOP could survive the 2018 midterms???? Seriously?

BTW, as noted earlier to Wonderer...

I apologize for the Poll format. I meant to allow people to pick and choose Multiple Answers, not just one or All of the Above.

Please pick your Top Pick....but mention others in your post response.

Again, my apologies for the error.

Yeah, but see, potheads don't buy Mexican ditch weed, and states wants it grown in their own farms so they can get the tax money.

As far as the kids re-entering... they'll worry about that when the time comes... remember, they are getting rid of millions who will never be able to come back, at least the administration doesn't think they will be able to come back.

Trump's infrastructure plans will probably break the bank, but he'll worry about that when the time comes too. (It'll be for the next dem administration.)

    Healthcare?

They'll repeal it as soon as they are able and then worry about replacing it when that time comes.

    Thx
