will the media take a hit for misleading the american voters.

watching the media since the election it's business as usual. Without a second thought they have carried on with the same posture of reporting as if nothing significant has happened. Even though, every single poll and every narrative they promoted about Trump was false. Not one single network has issued an apology or behaved as if they are the least bit concerned that what they reported my well have tilted the election in Trump's favor. Every single network, including Fox News, hammered it home month after month that Donald Trump has no viable path to the presidency. Then, those of us who were watching, saw that path open up live right before our very eyes. The results even shocked the Trump campaign.

But, here again, what reason would they have to take any responsibility for their coverage? Social media has been blowing up criticizing them since Trump first announced he was running. They could care less as long as they have viewers willing to reward them for their lack of journalistic integrity. Before Trump, it's safe to say that most American's didn't trust the media. I myself, have said that 5th graders know better than to do so. It's safe to say that most American's consider themselves rational minded critical thinkers ( especially if they happen to be liberals). Well, maybe we should reexamine that presumption. I've seen studies indicating that Fox News viewers are the least informed. Maybe, that too needs to be reexamined.

Regardless, there is just no escaping the truth. Millions of American's watched in shock as the electoral map changed from the false impression the media had promoted into reality. Millions of American's sat in their living rooms watching in disbelieve until it was over and clear Trump would win. All saying to themselves "what just happened"? Our founding fathers warned that in order for a republic to work we need to be a "well informed citizenry". Well, it would appear that the media dropped the ball on that. Even more disturbing, is how it would also appear that American's could care less.

They lost credibility long ago. They don't care.

Whoever thought they had credibility before Tuesday night hasn't been paying enough attention, and that's the kind of viewers that they depend on.

They count on viewers to have short memories, and mostly the viewers will come through for them. Or a new crop of viewers will tune in to see whatever their next clickbait is.

So, no, they won't take a hit.

I used to think it was the left that owned the media. Now I am of the impression that the same folks that own the left also own the media. I think they will either not take a hit, or if viewership does decline that it won't matter. The slant towards globalism and attacks on Conservatism will continue.

it's a trip listening to Michael Moore right now. He's saying now how he tried to tell his liberals friends not to believe the media. But, they wouldn't listen.

He did, did you not hear his interview on Hannity a week or so before the election.. (he was saying THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND, These are people I have been around for decades,) But they ignored him just like they ignored GW Bush when he said we need to regulate and end sub-prime mortgages, Democrats said "Theth isth no Crisith" and continued to play their violins as the fires began to catch.

They were telling Moore you are FOS, Hillary has this in the Bag.. look at the polls.

what the fuck would make you think I'd watch an ass clown like Hannity? That's not the usual show that anyone would expect to get the word out to liberals on.

The Media did not take a hit in 2012 and the collusion was factually serious and document-able.

The Media wanted Trump as the nominee and they got him.
