Don't forget either that Øbama warned Putin off prior to the election, and said there was no more attempts after that. Remember that from September 2016? Hmmm!? The Progs hero, Øbama.

... Not until September, when Mr. Obama pulled Mr. Putin aside at a Group of 20 meeting in Hanghzhou, China, was the Russian leader given a warning directly from the United States. Mr. Obama said he told him “to cut it out, there were going to be serious consequences if he did not.”

The president made it sound like that worked, saying “we did not see further tampering of the election process.” ...

That does not seem like something that would stop Trump.

Trump was facing pressure over the phony dossier that Comey would not let go and was chasing down a rabbit hole. We saw today that Comey isn't much, a man afraid to be alone with Trump, LOL You tried to turn that into pressure off Russia in your post, do not deny it.
Psst...Look up to post #9. (thats the post between 8 and 10)

Not if he knows what is good for him. He needs to be investigated by someone who will do it just to watch him die. He needs to be investigated by the biggest enemy he can find.

That is, assuming there is nothing to find. Otherwise, he is playing Saturday Night Massacre.

Trump knows he has nothing to fear from a Republican congress.
We both know a GOP House will not impeach Trump unless it's obvious that the public will turn on them next yr.

pretty sickening isn't it? For the first time in history we had a former FBI director calling a sitting president a liar. Things are fallen apart in this country. Yet, all Republican's care about is their own ass.

Unfortunately the GOP would still not put the Republic above Republicans and absolutely nothing would happen.

Well maybe McCain would be "troubled"
