Either way many suspected it was overdone and may have contributed to school shootings and the like. People seem to want a pill for everything when they go to the doctor. They don't want to hear "eat healthy and exercise" instead its "don't you have a pill for that, I just saw an ad on tv." It just makes sense that now we have this problem. Its become part of our mentality.
This blows my mind too. I just interviewed for a job as a school nurse for a chain of charter schools. My main role, would be drugging children all day..or at least it felt that way after seeing the medicine cabinet. Every psych drug imaginable. When did children become so mentally ill? You are correct...you see a brittle diabetic eat a candy bar, then turn around and give themselves a insulin shot...it makes you shake your head. My husband is the same way, he takes lipid medication and then gets annoyed with me when I am militant about his diet. He feels a pill gives him a pass for whatever he wants to eat.

It really makes me feel that the FDA decided to drug us all decades ago. Maybe that explains why politics has become the way it has!!

LOL...TBH, staying stoned all day every day, doesn't sound like a bad idea for the next 3.5 years. Wake me up after the next election and I will determine if I go to rehab based on the results of the election.
