I can see Trump making it look like its North Korea with Putins' help and use it as an opportunity to put some money in his pocket via kick backs from military equipment and arm sales. If it is the expense of American lives and possibly triggering a world war I honestly think Trump wouldn't give a shit especially if it took the heat off him and the investigation got side tracked and shelved.
You really think Trump would go to that much trouble to get the Russian investigation done with? I think that whole issue will collapse on its own, because of lack of evidence.

    Another TDS thread.

If the President was hell bent on starting up a war with North Korea he would not be working so hard at the U.N. to try and avoid one.

This is a case where the left is going to hate Trump no matter what he does. If Trump does nothing and North Korea nukes a major city of ours, they will blame Trump. If Trump takes a preemptive act to stop North Korea from nuking a city, they will complain.

Move to California, Jerry Brown will protect you from North Korea.

NK is complicated. There is more too it than just lopping missiles at them. I think he would love to strike NK.. but as a result, there will be thousands of dead South Koreans in the fallout which is our ally and who we protect. If he goes down that road, I think we will be walking it alone and will face full responsibilities for his decision. Trump likes to blame others. Unless a NK missile lands within a 100 miles of California...nothing but sanctions are going to happen. I like to think our military would intercept it before it got that close.

Gee, I thought I'd defended Trump. I'm saying there's no way he purposefully starts something with North Korea. You disagree?

I don't believe the missile would have to land. I think that if North Korea launches a missile at the United States, there will be a swift and clear retaliatory strike probably prior to the final pieces of their missile falling to the ground.
