Forget about his campaign. You're asking about Trump himself. There's presently NO evidence that Trump was involved in the crimes for which his campaign is being investigated.

Off the top of my head:
    1. Financial felonies the IRS may be investigating
    2. Obstruction of Justice (a prima facie case is already existing)
    3. Possible other crimes up to and including Treason.

    You don't know that.
I'm guessing there is such evidence.

(Trump has considered himself above the law all his life. Why would that have changed in 2016?)

Yes I do. There's no evidence available to us, and that's the only thing that matters. Anything else is rank speculation--sort of like my calling you a pedophile.

I guess we'll see. How do you figure a charge or treason?

    Treason legal definition of treason

    I don't see it.

Evidence of crime are rarely released to the public before an indictment.
That we don't know YET means nothing in defense of Trump.

I hate Trump with the passion of 10,000 burning suns, but I'm still an American, which means he gets the same treatment under law as my mother.

    From you link:

    Treason
The betrayal of one's own country by waging war against it or by consciously or purposely acting to aid its enemies.

Aiding Putin would be treason in my book and something a jury might want to consider.
It's a stretch granted......but who knows what Mueller has?

Sure it does, since the defense of Trump is based on evidence. When we talk about whether he's guilty, we are already speculating. Now you want to push past that and talk about what would happen if he WERE convicted. That's just an excuse for acting like he's already found guilty. That's the purpose of your thread--to treat Trump as if he were already found guilty. That's not legitimate.

So, should you get ten years or twenty for diddling little boys? (It's the same thing, Devil. I'll give you as hard a time about this as I would some conservative for the same behavior.)

Agreed on both points and Trump is getting fair treatment under our laws.
Discussing "What if" questions on a private debate forum does not take away Trump's rights.
