We really need a UN resolution here to sanction NK and also nations that help them, like China.

And at the very least an agreement between the US, South Korea and Japan that an attack on any one will garner an overwhelming response from EACH of the aforementioned nations... Yes, the US could do it all by themselves, but the agreement mandates a response from all three.

But... let's start with some fundamentals here, WHY are other nations like Pakistan allowed to have a nuke, but not NK, let's play devil's advocate here, just for the sake of the academics...?

Before we take our usual place standing on moral high ground, let's first make sure we have moral standing...

    Thx

As far as I know NK is allowed to have nukes.

Why is pressure put on NK to abandon their nuclear program, but not on Pakistan?

    (Or Russia for that matter?)

    Thx

Um because they aren't threatening to use them?

Eventually everyone will have nukes. Proliferation is inevitable. We just need to keep on developing the best missile defense systems possible. If Little Kim manages to lob one of those things somewhere near an actual target I'll be we get to see it shot down.

And that's all it takes to get them next to the big red button: fake news.

But all NK has said is that their missiles are for defense... they haven't nuked anybody yet?

Some might say the US is the proven nuclear bully on those grounds...

Let's suppose NK had a huge arsenal of nuclear weapons... I bet we would simply drop the issue and they would become just like China and Russia: another somewhat questionable nation with nukes that we are just going to have to live with.

    Thx
