In the U.S. we don't kill people sneaking across the border.
    Nazis and Communists did.

    Which type are you?

Who specifically has proposed a policy of shooting people that try to cross the border illegally....??

Maybe we'll even have some cool laser weapons to show off! We could slice off the top of the Washington Monument with one of our lasers, just to scare the folks like Kim Dong Un and that Ayafoolah feller in Iraq! [We can always fix it up after.]

We need to get the President a keen military uniform for the parade! With epaulets and medals and so forth, like that Napoleon guy had in France way back when.
Trump wants to emulate the French and their Bastille Day parade. I wonder if we could get him to emulate the French and copy their #1 rated health care system that costs roughly half as much as ours does? He did say he favored universal health care, after all.

Come to think of it, he did. He said he was "smart" not to pay taxes, and then he rails on Amazon for not paying taxes. One must wonder what will come out of his mouth next.

In fact, Trump PROMISED Americans that they would be getting "much better healthcare, at much lower costs".

    Wonder when?

Well, Donald is just jealous that Jeff Bezos is much, MUCH smarter than he is.

    And much, MUCH richer, too.

Sounds like Grover Norquist. That guy has kind of started a new, subversive religion. I call it Quistianity.

But Quistinsanity might be more accurate.

It's the obvious signal that Trump is sending to his base.
The fact that U.S. troops would have no authority to even interact wth illegals is lost on most Trump crazies.

(sending troops sounds much tougher than sending dentists to the border, but neither could stop a single illegal attempting to sneak in.
    Only LE can do that.)

The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. 1385, original at 20 Stat. 152) signed on June 18, 1878 by President Rutherford B. Hayes. The purpose of the act – in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807 – is to limit the powers of the federal government in using federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States. It was passed as an amendment to an army appropriation bill following the end of Reconstruction, and was subsequently updated in 1956 and 1981.
The Act only specifically applies to the United States Army and, as amended in 1956, the United States Air Force. While the Act does not explicitly mention the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy has prescribed regulations that are generally construed to give the Act force with respect to those services as well. The Act does not apply to the Army National Guard or the Air National Guard under state authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within its home state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state's governor. The United States Coast Guard, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security, is not covered by the Posse Comitatus Act either, primarily because although the Coast Guard is an armed service, it also has both a maritime law enforcement mission and a federal regulatory agency mission.
The title of the act comes from the legal concept of posse comitatus, the authority under which a county sheriff, or other law officer, conscripts any able-bodied man to assist her or him in keeping the peace

When he was running for President, Herman Cain suggested electrifying the fence on the border, so that anyone trying to cross would be electrocuted.

We should look into the cost/benefit ratios here. Electricity MIGHT be cheaper than ammunition.
