    I conceal carry.

Ought to be fun in downtown Dallas tomorrow for the start of the NRA convention. I'm not going and I am not a member, just have to take "She Who Must Be Obeyed" to Dallas (West Village) for an appointment. She thought we should reschedule but I said no. I think it will be just fine.
I was born with a gun. But I own and use several firearms of different types.

I have a 45 for self protection and others for hunting. I am convinced by people like Sheriff Israel in Florida that there is no way I would rely on the police to protect me and my family.

Yeah but you have to understand those on here who say they do carry are paranoid and have very small penis's.

What training have you had of the shoot/don't show police courses? None.(not usually taught or needed in the military)
What real-life stressful situations have you ever had that you had to draw a gun? Being shot at. Yes, those incidents were in the good old US of A.
Combat experience in the Marines? Vietnam. Not ground combat but taking incoming rockets and being shot at in the air, in my book still counts.
You know that combat is not like walking civilian streets, right? (there are no free-fire zones)
    Now that is funny.

I would assume that all events where the President and Vice President are in attendance are gun free events. Besides, it's not a gun-free event. The Secret Service will be well armed. Good for them.

RIIIIIGHT.....All cops everywhere in the United States are just like the 4 chicken-shit Sheriff's Deputies in Broward County, Florida, every single one of them.
Yep, sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Why you need a permit to carry a firearm is stupid. I have carried for so many years and never needed it as taking the firearm from the offender is just too easy.

Why do you have guns if you trust the police so much?

I don't know about him but I keep living in nice areas so there is no worry about needing a cop. Granted low income is what many feel is a risk area but to me it is comfort.

So? My post is accurate, is it not.
You DO know that all of their previous annual conventions have not allowed firearms, right?

Oh, so a school gun-free zone are not REALLY gun-free zones as police officers and authorized security guards are allowed to have their weapons. Why din't you just say so?
