Ought to be fun in downtown Dallas tomorrow for the start of the NRA convention. I'm not going and I am not a member, just have to take "She Who Must Be Obeyed" to Dallas (West Village) for an appointment. She thought we should reschedule but I said no. I think it will be just fine.
None of your GD business especially on the Internet.

I used to have an SKS but it was taken during the Obama Administration through force... I mean... I have an SKS still.

Fun to shoot, easy to load but not for home self defense. I have that shotgun from post 2 for that.

My college had a dominate rifle team, I regret not taking marksmanship while there.

Local high schools still do around here. Becoming popular again. Some are doing skeet now as well.

By "permit" is meant "license," in this context.

Of course, the license is to drive, not to own a car, which itself requires no license.

I never found putting holes in paper targets very much fun.
(if I did a BB/Pellet rifle would serve the purpose)

Totally heavy-handed and arguably unconstitutional.

The Second Amendment was set up so that the "We the People" had the means to overcome a tyrannical government, not be an army unto themselves. do we need a license or government permission for our right to freedom of speech? What about our right to not be forced to incriminate ourselves? Does that need a government license, too?

To continue your 18th-century analogy, Does the First Amendment cover movies, TV, radio, and the internet? What about the 4th Amendment? does it cover the info on your iPhone? What about your texts, Facebook posts, and e-mail. None of that existed then either.
So, you agree with me. Correct?

My own firearms are for self defense IN CASE the cops don't show up in time. NOT what I use INSTEAD of calling the cops.
You display no common sense at all. It's as if your goal is to say the dumbest thing possible.
