A better example would be Mrs. Clinton - who should be allowed to sue the pants off those in the media who libeled her as molesting children in the basement of a pizza restaurant (which a lot of people actually believed by the way).

The free speech rights of the press should be no less or no more than the free speech rights for the rest of us.

The only person I'm seeing talking shit right now is you - because that's not what I want at all.

I can also speak for myself and I especially don't need or want you doing it for me - especially considering how much you lie about what I think and say.

    I thought so.
That's actually not what I said at all.

You aren't every good at understanding my comments are you...

That would all be fine and good, but I'd have to believe it first.

Actually, you purport to deny the free speech of the anti-Hillary cabal: Does the U.S. need a free press?

    I understand that perfectly.

No it's all fine and good now regardless of what you believe.

I speak for myself. You don't speak for me or describe my own opinions and beliefs - because I know what I believe a hell of a lot more better than you do.

Free speech does not include the right defame somebody without legal consequences.

Go circulate a false story about your neighbor molesting children and find out how quickly you wind up being sued in a court room. What I am suggesting is the press should be held to the same standards the rest of us are when it comes to reporting on public officials. That isn't denying anyone their free speech rights. It's simply applying the right of free speech equally across the board - which is how all rights should be applied.

I said you are not for free speech, you tell me it is not true, I provide an example of you being against free speech with your own words, and you tell me you know yourself better than I do.

    Fair enough.

    Bullshit.

I just implied in my previous post that I understand you better than you do.

    Sue me.

Again: free speech does not include the right to defame other individuals without legal consequences.

And calling for the same standards to be used across the board when it comes to defamation is not being against free speech.
