Business is brisk but the economy has been getting better and better after the recession. I don't give credit to Trump as it's all a cycle regardless of who's president. At some point things will slow down again.

A little better. First pay raise in several years. Lower tax rate. 401(K) is up. Value of house has increased.

Just wanted to see if us normal people are seeing the huge gains Trump promised and is touting.
Just the usual lies I see.

How are OUR incomes going to improve with all the goodies going to Trump and his rich friends?

As an educator, I had ONE pay raise in the last TEN years, since the Great Recession hit. That's one reason I am leaving the profession. Striking out in a different direction. To be perfectly frank, ANYONE who goes into education for a career in America these days should have their head examined. America simply does not value it. It is a career for CHUMPS.

That's sad, because our children should be our biggest investment. They are our future.
Teachers will always have my utmost respect.

So far the poll shows little to no change since Obama for us middle class people.
    Remember all the promises?

Wait until next year if the GOP still controls Congress! (kiss your HC, SS, education and air quality goodby)

    Just breaking on CNBC:

Households are feeling more stable, small businesses are making money and many expect to expand and hire in the coming year, signs of continued optimism in two key parts of the economy, the Federal Reserve reported Tuesday in a pair of annual surveys. Among households, 74 percent of U.S. adults said they were financially comfortable or at least okay in 2017, four percentage points higher than in 2016 and 10 percentage points higher than the first survey year of 2013. Improvement was strongest in lower income households. The percentage of households that reported they were struggling financially fell to 7 percent from 9 percent last year.

You've got 30% "much better," 20% "a little better," 30% "the same," and 20% "worse." Admittedly, a small sample. But your characterization of it as "little to no change" is a bit misleading.
    Thanks from bajisima
