Every adult lies, our world is run by lies and liars. The key is what you lie about and why. If you lie about the DDay invasion, that is perfectly acceptable to me since it had to be a secret. If you lie about something trivial or easily refuted once, chalk it up to laziness. But if you lie about everything, you have a problem. We all know liars. The good ones started lying as a kid. They cannot help themselves. In fact, they believe their own lies which makes them excellent liars. But no one can lie as well as someone who tells the truth most of the time. That liar can get away with it. Again, what you lie about is more important than the act of lying. Watch TV. Every single ad is a lie, purposeful lie.

Why would anyone believe a single word uttered by a Real Estate Agent?

He pays people for influence and to silence them about his deeds, but calls others doing so, the problem. So in his own mind, is it or is it not, a problem when he does it and may still be doing it?

Why does this man act as if nothing he does is a problem and how does he get away with calling it a problem when other people do it, but exempt himself from his own scrutiny?

What syndrome, does that fall under?
Knot, you have one vote there! Guess who!

If lying begins as a kid, Trump must have started in the womb!

I believe trump because, there's nothing substantial that he's lied about as president, if anything he's surpassed most of his promises.

As a Canadian, I'm jealous to see a real leader.

Not sure what the word "believe" is supposed to mean in any sentence involving any politician.

If it means "trust" then I don't ever, with any of them.

They are a necessary evil who fulfill a function.

The assumption is that we should trust them is flawed.

A politician's job is to try and get people who hate each other to vote for you and support your efforts.

How does one do that job without twisting the truth and hiding your motives?

From my perspective, Trump is the flawed man against the more greatly flawed machine that is Washington.

But that's a bit too noble sounding. Still it's why he got elected. Trump accepts that role because he loves to provoke, to entertain, to get a lot of attention and to negotiate the big deal. He is so consistent in these motives that we all know what he's doing, all the time. At the same time, we know very little about what he's going to do and he likes it like that.

My advice is to ignore the show and examine the results. We get to vote again in two years.

Jimmy Carter was a good person, not a good president, too weak.

Like all presidents, there were good things and bad things.
This was what republicans kept bleeting, anyway. If you repeate spmething often enough, it sticks.

The fact that our society and our politics operates on trust (and has since the inception of our Republic) makes us great. If you take away that trust, which has always existed, you'll destroy our society. Everything about us--our politics, our economics, our personal relationships, run on trust. Always has.
