Of course, that will never happen. There is no perfect and unslanted news source.
Nobody expects perfection. I expect ideals to be pursued, at least occasionally. You shape a culture by having enough people who care about ethics to speak up. It can't be imposed by an external body. Right now, being on the wrong side of an emotional, but flawed story is a death warrant to your ratings and reputation.

Let me provide an example. Last week there was a hearing on the Clinton email scandal where Trey Gowdy interviewed Horowitz. Regardless of what you think about the hearing, it is news. Major news was broken through the fact that Horowtiz told Gowdy that the original Russian investigation of 2016 was being pursued because of the discovery of biased FBI agents in high places. For those of us who have been hoping for some truth on this issue, that's major news. It's something that most people did not know. It's NEWS.

So I turn on Fox news to get some coverage and I am treated to a full hour of the "children separated from their parents at the border story." It's certainly a legitimate story though the timing is rather suspect. So, did Fox challenge the narrative and explain the Trump policy? Nope, they just passed on the propaganda. Crying children. Outraged parents. Angry politicians. Reactions. What will TRUMP do? !!!!! Emotions. Emotions. Emotions. I have never seen a more pathetic lack of exploration of a story and not a single word about the hearing. You might expect Fox to push back just a little and ask some hard questions or interview a border agent or an ICE administrator to examine why, but NOTHING.

Tune in the next day. Same shit different day. And this is the 6:00 eastern time zone newscast, not Fox and Friends or Hannity. It's not supposed to be an opinion show and all we got was one opinion

I am not saying they should not show the emotion and the outrage, but they presented the story as though there was only one side to it. Not acceptable. This is the kind of crap I expect from the new and failing Morning Joe show.

In an actual news format, you are supposed to tell both sides to a story. It's wrong.

When a news program is afraid of the power of the propaganda and only tells one side of a story, we are in serious difficulty.

Here's the BBC actually explaining the Trump policy as of June 15.

Please understand that I am NOT saying that such an explanation should be the only thing explained to the public. But in a typical, traditional, ethical , journalistic news story, you challenge both sides of any issue based story. If there are two sides, you tell both sides.

Mr Sessions said those entering the US irregularly would be criminally prosecuted, a change to a long-standing policy of charging most of those crossing for the first time with a misdemeanor offence. As the adults are being charged with a crime, the children that come with them are being separated and deemed unaccompanied minors.
Advocates of separations point out that hundreds of children are taken from parents who commit crimes in the US on a daily basis.
As such, they are placed in custody of the Department of Health and Human Services and sent to a relative, foster home or a shelter - officials at those places are said to be already running out of space to house them.

Globalization and SOROS are the culprits. Socialism may be the immediate desired system even in USA but it comes with complacency, lowering of real estate prices, lots of taxes.Denmark pays 60% of income taxes and many other western european countries. There is a lot of PRO with Socialism but it has to be understood. Contrary to Bernie Sanders, more BIG TIME money will concentrate into fewer hands. Look at Google, Microsoft, they want it and they'll become kings controlling almost everything in the world.

The "Us" he's dividing isn't just the USA, but the western allies, and the civil and democratic norms that have existed since at least WW2
