    Interesting. This seems like a flame bait post and maybe even questioning moderation. Since we know that staff does not post results when it does not result in an infraction. Canada, our vast neighbor to the north, limits the refugees that it allows to come to its country. It looks at the needs of Canada. The question posed in the OP is suggesting racism is the reason that illegals are not being allowed to flood our border. Where would illegals passing through Canada to our border come from? Russia?

    Immigration law and practice in the U.S. has been based on racism since 1776.

    However, if Canadians were reduced to poverty, subjected to severe violent crime and desperate to flee environmental disasters to the same extent as most Latin American immigrants, I feel confident Americans could gin up some massive racist hate for Canadians.

    However, if Canadians were reduced to poverty, subjected to severe violent crime and desperate to flee environmental disasters to the same extent as most Latin American immigrants, I feel confident Americans could gin up some massive racist hate for Canadians.

    Why do you think the Canadians have not been put into that position? Why are they in such better condition than our neighbors to the south?
