J-Walking and murder are both violations of the law.

Impeachment has not happened yet simply because the GOP is not going to alienate Trump supporters going into the midterms. The minority party has history on its side heading into November. The republicans are not going to exacerbate the situation.

    My two cents...

No law or COTUS wording protects a criminal president from being prosecuted in our courts.
Unless you think that you can convince 1/2 the House and 2/3 of the Senate to impeach him and remove him, you are just tilting at windmills.

After Kennith Star found nothing in his "investigation" to stick, he set a perjury trap. I will remind you that a REPUBLICAN Senate, refused to uphold Clinton's impeachment. Most people in the country did not want Clinton impeached. Again, it was Republicans that refused to impeach Clinton.
You are right, Bill Clinton clearly committed perjury a felony. Donald J Trump has not committed treason. Your post proves that you are ignorant of the legal definition of perjury. Are we at war? Has Russia been declared to be our enemy? No on both. The Democrats voted in a solid block against both impeachment and removal for Bill Clinton. Not one single one of them crossed over on the vote. I understand that you think some felonies are okay, if it is a Democrat. Party over country, all the way.

SD, you do not have to be at war to commit treason. You can commit treason my aiding an enemy of the U.S.

Russia, in seeking to influence our electoral process, would be considered an enemy.

When Clinton lies under oath by denying an affair, you and your fellow do-gooders froth at the mouth. When Trump falsely claims that he "can't remember" or he "doesn't recall," it's the same thing. Only difference is that no one is trying to hang his butt from a flag-pole.

The Democrats who want to impeach President Trump, are in the minority party. They do not have the votes, nor do they have high crimes or misdemeanors that they can prove. Impeachment is not just supposed to be a political tool for use when your party loses the election.

If President Trump were impeached by a Democrat controlled House, then not removed by the Senate, he would be in a more solid position than he is right now.
    It'd be great theater tho.

Thanks from Southern Dad and Madeline

Well, your dreams are answered, babs. I mean, hell, free college, free healthcare, open borders, renewed jobs exporting to China and a guaranteed job (at least for those that want it).

How the hell could you go wrong with that platform?

Come November, Ocasio-Cortez is almost certain to become the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. Will her democratic-socialist identity push the Party to the left?

Educate yourself. Read the legal description of treason. Read the constitutional description of treason. In addition, when did Russia get declared to be our enemy? Was Russia our enemy when Obama had his hot mic moment? Was Russia our enemy when Romeny was mocked for suggesting it? Was Russia our enemy when Clinton pressed the Reset Button? When did we declare Russia to be our enemy?

It's mind boggling to me that Trump could be re-elected. I can't find a way to brain as to this possibility.

But yes, I know it exists.

    U.S. Constitution
    Article III, Section 3:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

*If Russia was engaged in ANY illegal activity against America, that would make them an enemy.
