Justice is not a consideration, IMO. I don't GAF what any Nixon era GOP Congresscritter claims now. Those who voted to approve the first article of impeachment did so not because they personally thought Nixon threatened our democracy, but because their constituents did. They feared they'd lose their careers if they stood by him any longer.

It was no orgy of high-minded patriotism.

What makes predictions so tough as to Trump's impeachment, IMO, is I can't make sense of the polling results we have already seen, nevermind predict what they will be in future.

The week after Trump was kissing Putin's ass in Helsinki, his approval rating among Republican voters went UP.

There's some massive mental health challenges afflicting this country that are completely baffling to me.

If Obama had done what Trump did in Helsinki, riots would have broken out across the country.

Awesome. Now tell me, when was Russia declared to be our enemy? Was it our enemy when Obama whispered on the hot mic? Was it our enemy when Clinton pressed the Reset Button? When, exactly was Russia declared to be our enemy? We have not recalled our ambassador. We have not closed our embassy. We have diplomatic relations with them. They have not declared war against us and we have not declared war against them.

WHEN WAS RUSSIA DECLARED TO BE OUR ENEMY?

    Holy. Fucking. Shit.

The U.S. has dealt death and misery to MILLIONS, in this country and around the world, and all because we "had to do anything" to protect America from communism.

Now, with Putin recreating the worst possible aspects of Stalinism, suddenly Russia is....what? An ally?

This is some next-level fuckery, right here. It's Manchurian Candidate-esque.

That's all wonderful. Again, when was Russia declared our enemy? When will we recall our ambassador?

Now they could come up with new charges in another Articles of Impeachment but they would have to have something that was not brought up in the first try.
Double jeopardy does not apply to a trial in the Senate. It's a principle of criminal justice, not political process.

However, in reality, it's very hard to believe Trump could be exonerated once and face impeachment again on the same charges. Doesn't seem possible, politically.

These days, #TrumpCult calls that a "process crime" and it's no big deal.

Where the fuck was all this disinterest in the Soviet Union during the Vietnam War?

Did everyone who was killed in that conflict die in vain, because Russia is not really our enemy and Stalinism is just a great alternative to democracy?

They do not have to be "declared" anything. If they were engaged in illegal activities against America, they were an enemy by default.

*That cocky tone of yours might work with your lawn-care boy or your server at TGIF's, but it ain't going to fly with me.

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, a married couple convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage in 1951, were put to death in the electric chair on June 19, 1953. Their dual execution marked the dramatic finale of the most controversial espionage case of the Cold War.

Julius was arrested in July 1950, and Ethel in August of that same year, on the charge of conspiracy to commit espionage. Specifically, they were accused of heading a spy ring that passed top-secret information concerning the atomic bomb to the Soviet Union.

WERE WE aT WAR WITH RUSSIA AT THIS TIME, YES OR NO????

Here's something to wipe the egg off your face....

To answer the OP, the odds are zero in my opinion. For both impeachment and removal. If they tried in the House it would be a publicity stunt like what was done with Bill Clinton.
