Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, a married couple convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage in 1951, were put to death in the electric chair on June 19, 1953. Their dual execution marked the dramatic finale of the most controversial espionage case of the Cold War.

Julius was arrested in July 1950, and Ethel in August of that same year, on the charge of conspiracy to commit espionage. Specifically, they were accused of heading a spy ring that passed top-secret information concerning the atomic bomb to the Soviet Union.

WERE WE aT WAR WITH RUSSIA AT THIS TIME, YES OR NO????

Here's something to wide the egg off your face....

As it happens, I think the West made a grave error in thinking that Stalin was their enemy at the end of WWII. If we had embraced him and the Russian people as our allies, which they had unequivocally been, I think Stalin might have made war to acquire control of nations behind the Iron Curtain, but never would have gone further.

I doubt he would have been the sadist psychopath he was, either. The efforts we made to destroy his regime left few choices other than to repress his own people and starve them to conduct an arms' race.

What a colossal waste of humanity.

I do not see Putin as a direct threat to the American people, but I do think he is cruel to the Russians. I want them to have peace and prosperity, but I want that for every nation's people

I don't think an invasion of countries we judge ruled by dictators offers any real possibility to enhancing the welfare of any people.

So, ironically, I'm not as annoyed if Trump wants to play hide the sausage with Putin as others might be, but holy fuck.

The whiplash as conservatives run out to buy dove outfits is startling. The biggest, noisiest collection of hawks the world has ever known are all suddenly peaceniks.

    It's bizarre.

Okay great. So you agree with that assessment that it is a process crime, no big deal? It's amazing how womanizing, adultery, perjury, sexual harassment in the workplace, are all okay if it is your guy.

Espionage is not the crime that we are talking about here. We are talking about TREASON. Focus. As I have stated, show that Russia has been declared our enemy. President Trump has not been accused of espionage. Talk about an ignorant post showing just how lost you really are... That one is it. TREASON. You have claimed the President has committed treason. Read the definition and tell us how your accusations against him rise to treason, then tell us how Obama's hot mic wouldn't be treason, and Clinton's Reset button wouldn't be treason. I believe it all matters about when you can say they became our enemy. And if we still have an ambassador there and diplomatic relations, are we enemies? Iran is an enemy of the USA. We have not had an ambassador since 1979. Cuba was our enemy but President Obama set that aside when he reestablished relations in 2015. I have not seen anything severing our relations with Russia.

There is a difference between sexual assault and bribe receiving, when committed by a sitting president.

You seem to have no patriotism at all. Just allegiance to Trump's cult of personality.

How the fuck did that happen?

Where did I agree? You actually can't post anything in this forum without it being a lie can you?

And as a Kool-Aid drinking party-over-country member of #TrumpCult, you shouldn't act so sanctimonious when you pretend to care about things like lying, womanizing, or sexual harassment.

Whut? A president can be impeached for bad acts judged to be "high crimes and misdemeanors". Treason is not the only possible basis.

That's what #TrumpCult has labeled the crimes committed by everyone around President Trump so far.

You know, like lying to the FBI? That's no longer a REAL crime... It's a "process crime".

Just more BS from the anti-American and anti-Law-Enforcement cult of Donald Trump true believers.
