The Bible Now Is Not The True Bible.

Last year I saw a documentary in National Geografy about the history of Chritianaty and in one episode they talk about the bible. The historians said that the bible that is use now is not the true bible from the time of Jesus but the bible that is use now are writen a few hundreds after Jesus death and they have proof. Then I make my own research and I found out that there is one bible that still survive and it is keep in Vatican but the Vatican do not let any one look at it and because of that there speculation that the Vatican is hiding the true bible so that the christian will not know the true Chritian teaching.Well, that what I read and hear,I dont know wheter it's true or just a bunch of lie.

Actually the latest cannonized testament in the Bible was written in the late first century BC about 30 to 90 years after Jesus' death. There are certainly testaments argued by gnostics to be put into the Bible in the council of Nicea but they were rejected and those were written 300 years or more later.

The protestant new testament is a collection of about 66 books each written sometime in the years (often many years) after the crucifiction.

But historians are very confident that the content in the original letters is the same as the content in the current translations.

Why? Because almost immediatly after they were written people started making copies.

Imagine that you lost your dog and you put up copies of a 'lost dog' poster all over town. Then someone came along and they pasted a picture of a cat on two or three of the posters. Anyone could instantly see that the lost cat posters were forgeries.

    Don't confuse yourself unnecessarily.

The council of nicea only made a determination of what books were considered canonical. They did no bible writing there. Nor were they obliged to make an account of that particular historical milleu.

You could very well do the same thing if you want.

they did even less then that......the debate at nicea was more about the Arian creed(based on the canon), not any new or additional books in the NT.

Most of the text were canonized by the mid 2nd century and we have surviving complete NT codexs from the 4th century, along with pieces of texts from the early 2nd century.

Read up on Emperor Constantine and how he devised the "Divinity of Christ", mixing religions to quell the violence of the day and to promote the Roman Empire's agenda.......circa 390 a.d. Not much has changed in today's propaganda...
