Having another innocent person suffer for the wrongs you have done, --- so that you might escape responsibility for having done them, --- is immoral.

    Do you agree?

No, God paid the price for our failures, he wants a relationship with us and it was the only way to reconcile the relationship. So he VOLUNTEERED to bridge the divide at his own cost.

    It was the ONLY way?

There was no other way a God who can create 1000 species of termites could think of to reconcile his relationship with Mankind?

Thanks for lying to us and showing how you have yet to read your bible.

Does this quote indicate to you that Jesus volunteered?

1Peter 1:20 0 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.

    Again.

Why don't you attend a local church and find out?

Much of the message of Christ can't be taught - only experienced through the community.

Sure, there are asshole Christians - the Westboro bunch for example - there are asshole in any group of people. If you try a church and it doesn't suit you - try another.

Not all churches are alike - unlike Islam and Judaism, Christianity continues to change and evolve.

    Yes.

Christianity was forced to do so by secular law just as it was forced to acknowledge that gays deserve all the rights of marriage.

Christianity is still a homophobic and misogynous religion and will need to stop being that if it is to remain a viable choice for people who, like Gnostic Christians, give all people equal rights under the law.

    Ms. Labrea,

Wasn't 9/11/2001 before the US invade Iraq? Wasn't the first WTC booming before we invaded Iraq? Weren't the attacks on the US Embassy at Dar es Saalam, Kenya, and Saudi Arabia before the US invaded Iraq? Wasn't the USS Cole attacked before the US invaded Iraq?

LOL. Sorry to ruin your premise.
