Another example of how "truth" isn't always nessesary.

I try not to be cruel to the less fortunate.

Do you point out to obese people how FAT they are?

Do you tell an unattractive child how ugly he or she is?

Do you often tell people how stupid, or uneducated they are?

Yup. Truth can really not only be unessary, but inappropriate as well.

When I enter into theological discussions, I don't generally tell people that they are wrong. Seldom are we juggling facts, instead, we discuss what we believe.

Santa isn't a man, he's a feeling. We believe when we are young, because us old folks know better.

Goes for other things, as well, like God or believing that our women love us no matter what.

Believe in the kindness of others, though.

Just never attempt to live off it.

You have to be a natural Trump voter to believe in Father Xmas anyway. My mother assured me that I was so sceptical I didn't even believe in Christmas! It was, of course, always a working day for my father, which may be the reason.

Depends on the situation there are tactful ways to do it.
