Who wouldn't like a guy who did that????
A person who lacks the philosophical ability to comprehend larger concepts of the Divinity.

It helps greatly, if he is also one who wants to "disprove" the Faith beliefs of others (for whatever personal needs such fulfills....)

An interesting note, many of the books were written by people who had no previous knowledge of books written before theirs yet they tie in almost seamlessly to the other ones. Names, dates, events so to do that with no knowledge of what happened before......well some say only a divine being could have pulled that off.

But you are correct that they are more a collection of short stories and most are there for context, not a literal translation so I am not sure there is a narrative to it other than a thousand different paths leading to one main conclusion. I am sure there is a word for that but since I am not a writer I don't know what it is.
    No previous knowledge?
    Your kidding?

No, Rors, I can't "disprove your Faith" by raising questions that upset or confound you.

Only you can disprove your Faith.

I am, in no way, "confounded."

That seems to be, once again, your projection.

Perhaps, it is YOU who is "confounded," as you seem to have difficulty wrapping your brain around what people tell you about their faith.

Maybe, your brain isn't exactly up to such ideals and philosophies.

Rors, the ONLY thing you "tell me about your faith"....is that you have it.

You obviously haven't given it much thought....or maybe are afraid to.

For instance, if you DON'T believe the Bible is "literally true"...not "real Garden of Eden", no "Noah's Ark and world-wide flood"......then why do you believe the Resurrection of Christ?

if you DO believe the Bible is literally true....how do your resolve the contradictions and things that don't add-up?

Typically, when these questions come up....you can't answer them, so you simply attack ME for asking the questions and get defensive....again, because you've never given any critical thought...

I BELIEVE...out of fear. I believe you are AFRAID of your faith being disproved...not by my questions....but by your own self-realization that you can't answer the questions or fear the answers.

What kind of teacher? Cruel and capricious and "picking favorites".....or benevolent, equitable, and "loving all his students"?

Evidence for both contradictory characteristics exists in the Bible.

In the Beginning was the word and the word was with God. He is the Alpha and Omega.
