In all fairness, the rules of logic do not apply to religious belief. By definition, religious belief involves accepting, by faith, that reality is not what it appears to be, and that unseen (and unseeable) supernatural forces actively intervene in the day to day existence that we observe. It makes no sense to even attempt to make sense of religious beliefs.

    True enough.

Making a percentage of faulty parts is (was) the business plan for General Motors. It guarantees that owners will occasionally have to spend money on parts and repairs. There is no profit in a religion where the faithful can go years without sin.

So, as I said, religion is a con.

Organized religion is a very profitable con. Not that much different from any other government institution.

Funny as it is to watch Carlin doing it....it's interesting just to READ what he said-

“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.

And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!

But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money!”
    Thanks from Friday13

No wonder religious people are among the most disturbed in society.
You apparently have never listened to a preacher explain this.

Why don't you take 30 seconds and google it, the answer is very obvious to this age old atheistic question.

Why would i listen to a preacher explain anything? They are part of the problem.

Then google it or read the Bible, it's fully explained, it's not some big mystery lol.
