Is this not a place to speak about religion? If not, then the title heading is wrong. I feel that as a Born Again Christian and an Ordained Minister I should have the right to post here about religion. Thanks.
As an ordained minister, isn't your job to seek the Lost? You keep putting a disclaimer in your OPs that refutes the work of the ministry. Just my two cents.

Jesus did not seek out the healthy, he came for the sick. As an apostle of Christ, I was always taught this was job One..

I vote for the individual I believe would be best for the position. Depends upon many factors but rarely is party amongst them.

Over my lifetime, I've only needed one prayer--The Serenity Prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Now in my later years, I have another--The Senility Prayer: God grant me the senility to forget those people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into those people I do like, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Of course we seek the lost. But the disclaimer speaks to those who Want To Stay Lost and not learn how to save themselves by becoming Born Again when it is being offered. And you cannot tell me that they do not exist. Because many would pop their head up right here in this thread and tell you that they much prefer to stay lost and not become saved and be able to go to Heaven when they pass away. Just read through this thread and other similar ones and you will see what I am talking about. Therefore, since even God does not force anyone to become saved because He gave them Free Will choice and allows them to hopefully reach that right decision by themselves, how can I who am not God? He merely shows them the way. The rest is up to them. But I cannot honestly understand how anyone would not want to become Saved and attain Heaven at their appointed time! It is simply mind-boggling. Those who are willing to lend me an ear and listen, however, are more than welcome and I am very happy when they come forth to engage in fruitful, benevolent and civil discussion. Those who prefer to remain atheists or non-believers I cannot force them to come forth but only show them the way. The final decision on what action they wish to take rests solely upon them.

And so it is that many are sick today. But Jesus did not always go to the sick. He allowed them to come to Him through Faith and Belief in what He could do to heal them you must remember. And so it is.

And we must remember that there is no other person who could do what Jesus could and can do. He healed the sick, drove out demons, turned water into wine, fed five thousand with five loaves of bread and two fish, walked on water, even raised the dead and then resurrected Himself after His own death as was fully documented by those who saw Him do that in His time. Therefore, no prophets, false deities, avatars, Buddhas, etc. can ever match what Jesus Christ did and continues to do. They also did not pay the price for us on the cross as Jesus did. Jesus opened up His arms while on the cross to show just how much He loves us and wants for us to love Him back so that He can continue to help us. It is truly sad however for those who do not believe.

So, lemme get this straight. The reason that 795 million children - think about that number; seven. Hundred. And. Ninety-Five MILLION - are starving, is because every. Single. one of them, and their parents didn't pray hard enough?!?! REALLY?!?! What a dick thing to say. I'll tell you what. Why don't you go down to your local homeless shelter, and tell all of the people who are forced to live there, that the only reason they are there, is because the didn't pray hard enough. Let us know how that works out for you...

And no, God would not help only you. If those other groups or people also prayed to Him they might just be very pleasantly surprised at what God can truly do since God answers prayer and they too could be helped according to God's will! And no, one does not necessarily have to be a Christian in order for God to help them since every human being is God's child since He created everyone.
You are saying that God can Eradicate the diseases and other calamities but he chooses not to?
So God would not help some because they don't worship him. What a sick guy that is
. If were all gods children as you believe, why would he not help all his children. Are you the kind of parent who would not help a child because you don't like his behavior?

I asked the question is God really omnipotent? And if he is , then is he not sadistic?

I went to the newseum inDCwhere they have that photograph I burst into tears because it was so agonizing to see. The light side of it is the guard came over with tissues because my reaction is commonplace and he has boxes for that purpose . You see that and you ask where is that God?

Well, according to Demowhip it's the kid's own fault; His and his parents. Apparently they don't pray hard enough, or have enough "faith", So the omnipotent God of Love ignores them, and lets them starve. Yay God!
