See, now that actually makes a bit of sense:

    Friday - The first day...
    Saturday - The second day...
    Sunday - the Third day...

He "rose on the third day..."

Actually we have a pretty good idea when "The Day" was, as we have a pretty goo idea when the betrayal, crucifixion, and resurrection all took place. We have this idea, because it follows the celebration of Jewish Passover. This is also why it is never the same Sunday, every year - because Passover moves around, following the Jewish calendar, rather than the Julian calendar that the rest of us use. So, Easter moves around accordingly.

Sure. Three is a magical number. The Bible is chock full of Numerology and Astrology.

Well, that just makes good sense. I mean, who has the time to rise from the dead during the work week? Especially if you have kids and all those school functions? It had to be a weekend day. And if Jesus was anything like me, I'm a bit of a late riser on Saturday morning myself. Sunday just makes more sense.
