Most readers of RedState, whether Christian or not, understand the importance of the Easter holiday to those of the Christian faith. People on social media will undoubtedly post or Tweet, ďHe is risen.Ē It is a portion of Matthew 28:6 where an angel appears to Mary Magdalene and ďthe other MaryĒ (Mother of James) telling them not to be afraid. ďI know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.Ē The angel then informs them, Jesus rose from the dead. He then appeared to many people over the next 40 days before he ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God.
