I believe that there is a place where the evil in mankind comes to rest. I call it hell.

Is there an infernal torture palace with flames and such? No. A true and gracious God would never allow that.

    Cheers,

    Bourne

My son borrowed my 2012 Jeep to visit a friend. He got drunk, hit three other cars, totaled my car. Now is facing 12 charges.
    I'm driving a rental, he's in Rehab.

    It can always be worse.

I hope that he's doing well.

    What kind of Jeep?

    Cheers,

I disagree. Roll your own "spiritualism" doesn't really represent any formal religious tradition.

All of the above are "hells" only for humans. none of them are considered a hell, or heaven, or anything, from a universal point of view.
A tsunami is a physical event based on a shift of tectonic plates. They serve no purpose, neither has their outcome any lasting or
'hellish" effect for the planet as a total.

Even the meteor who was responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs, could have been considered "hell" for the dinosaurs, but was a necessity in order to allow the mammals to flourish.. which brought the inventor of hell, humans, into existence.

Oh I see but when people are rescued and survive they thank God.well at least you recognize that God is not omnipotent because otherwise you would be admitting he is a sadist

    3. It is everlasting exisitance in total solitude from anything created by God and God Himself (this separation leaves and emptiness that burns like fire and brimstone total loneliness, no companionship, no one to live with but yourself). This is the doctrine I believe because you choose yourself over God,
Why don't you believe in the first two and only the last? Again it's something you just want to believe. There are plenty of people who believe in one and two and will argue with you that they are true

I cannot suspend all logical thinking to accept this
