    While I'm beating this dead horse: First couple Harry Potter books are about a British boy being hunted by an evil sorcerer. Defended by authorities like parents and Headmasters.

    Then the story needed to hit American audiences .... suddenly the bad guys are the Government.
    Yeah the movies I was like what? How does anyone like these? I enjoyed them to a degree, knowing all the things from the books. Watching other parts come to life. I really wanted to see her turn into the Mockingjay with that dress, for instance. But SO MUCH was lost. To me, the most meaningful stuff.

    I had to put down the third book to bawl. The movies didn't evoke that.
